I just have to shout out Larry’s and their amazing staff. I went in today after meeting someone to buy a plant. When I went to leave, my car wouldn’t start. The lovely gals working scrambled to find some jumper cables. And a nice gentleman that works there (sorry I didn’t grab his name - I was stressing too much) came and helped me clear off the terminals and jump it so I could get to the shop. Not a fun experience after driving up from OP to get that serotonin boost, but they helped make it much less stressful than it could have been. Truly awesome people! PS I also got to see Janet for the first time & that put a smile on my face. Plus they really do have gorgeous plants, including some rare ones you can’t find elsewhere nearby.

This Nursery has a great selection, is well maintained and has a super nice and helpful staff. My wife and I shopped here last week and immediately found a beautiful ficus for the entry way to our home. We’ll definitely be coming back for more plants soon. Highly recommend!

PROs: Large variety of herbs, vegetables, perennials and annuals. Tropical, succulents and native plants. Prices are just slightly higher than hardware stores but you may find it here and notice the care is better. The services is friendly. CONs: No seeds. Parking is small. And can be dangerous if no one is paying attention, be careful. I have yet to meet anyone grouchy at a plant nursery. 😉

Last week was my first time visiting Larry’s and I’ve already gone back two times since then. This place is amazing! If you are a plant collector and like more than just the basics, this is the place to go. I was shocked at how reasonably priced everything was. I was able to find a few plants I had been looking for and they were well cared for. What makes this place even better is the staff. They are so nice and fun to talk to. They made me feel welcome and even remembered me when I came back. This will definitely be my go to when I’m ready for more houseplants. I sho do also mention they have a great selection of outdoor plants as well.
